Dear Minister Deenihan,

Attached is photos of An Gorta Mor Commemoration held on Sunday 4th May which is the first Famine Commemoration in Newry.
It is proposed that Newry will hold an annual Famine Commemoration in the coming years.

The CCIFV Marker donated to the Community and People of Newry was the focal point of the ceremony.

These CCIFV Markers will be placed on any Unmarked Famine Grave found in Ireland and its Islands.

Is mise le meas,

Michael, Olivia.
