One of our goals for last year was to secure funding to re-develop Block A (the Girls’ Building). Thankfully, the application to Galway Rural Development Ltd. was successful and €187,000 has been allocated. Work is well underway and the plan is to have this phase of work finished by July, 2013.

Note that the workhouse is open whilst work is in progress.
