Enda Kenny, An Taoiseach visits Irish Hunger Memorial

Enda Kenny, An Taoiseach (Prime Minister of Ireland): On Sunday, St Patrick’s Day, autographed the highest beam of New York City’s Freedom Tower and visited the nearby Irish Hunger Memorial- the ruins of the ½ acre field and famine cottage transported stone by stone from Adrian’s home parish of Attymass, Co. Mayo in 2001. On Monday An Taoiseach travelled to George Washington University in Washington, DC where he delivered the Paul O’Dwyer Lecture, before meeting President Barack Obama.
